this weekend i took these photos with my mom's old film camera and i was very impressed! they are all so beautiful! i'm definitely going to have to keep using it. i'll probably look like a try-hard nerd carrying it around but whatever.


this has been a big week! the kittens have started moving around and playing with each other (the first two weeks they just wormy little loafs) and the chickens have starting laying eggs!

this is the greatest store i have ever set foot in. im talking incredible. not only is the atmosphere stimulating and beautiful but also the workers in the store. its like you walk in and are suddenly filled with happiness and the willingness to spend all the money you have including your college fund. 

warning: its also an addiction

a pair of jeans just isnt enough. i love everything inside that dang store. its one of the most unique and amazing places. 

when you leave, you know you're supporting something great. 

wearing clothes or shoes or jeans or anything from i + w just makes ya feel good.

and you also feel cool because i + w is the epitome of cool.

01. i got a job at the infamously delicious jeni's splendid ice cream at their new location in 12 south!

02. absolutely in love with my beatrice valenzuela botines. this is my best friend wearing her pair while in portland.

03. drooling over this amazing tank top. i want it, but i'm broke. c'est la vie.

04. these one forty three lamps are definitely on my list of enamoring items.

05. i splurged on this imogene + willie tee a few days ago and have only taken it off to shower. love.

06. i saw this sticker at a incredible pop up shop in denver called small room collective and i can't get over how wonderful it is.

07. dreaming of iceland.

08. i'm beyond excited for the billy reid pop up shop garage sale tomorrow!

09. i was so bummed this stunning necklace was sold out online and in store until i went into i + w the other day and they told me they were getting a new batch soon or they could put an order in for me! i adore it.

loveless ain't famous for nothing

i think my friends and i are going to start making going to loveless cafe a weekly tradition. i've grown up hearing about it, yet i had never been until saturday, and let me just tell ya, it's not legendary for nothing. i went their again today with my friend clementine and hilary because i just couldn't stop thinking about those buttery, magical biscuits. i ate 4 biscuits with their homemade blackberry, peach, and strawberry jams before i ever got my meal.... which was 3 chicken biscuits. so in all, i consumed about 7 biscuits, and i have no regrets. also, their creamed corn is like nectar from the gods.
